Wherever your passion resides, too often people get stuck in a state of “trying”. Whether you believe you can or can’t, you’re right.

Therapy 1x1

  • Not everyone who has experienced some form of trauma develops an addiction, but everyone who has an addiction, has experienced some form of trauma. Addiction was a solution to underlying distresses. Together we will discover and work through and out of the fears of living life. You will learn how to discover your true triggers as well as how to utilize them as strengths to fulfill the life you desire.

  • For some, experiences of the past have shaken up our perceptions on how the world should be. Living in a state of confusion from how we believed life should be for us and seems to be our current life is nowhere aligned with it. Due to these disturbances, one has created protective factors to prevent anything that remotely resembles such past experiences, hindering us from any sense of joy, love or happiness. There are no incurable people, just incurable states of mind. Together we will learn how to shift our state of mind to support us in our endeavors rather than limit us. Let’s allow the mind to speak rather than the body.

  • A mystical experience is a state of consciousness in which an individual experiences the sense of one with the Universe, with God, with the Source or whatever name he or she may use to represent such divinity. Mystical experiences are temporary glimpses into our most sacred and ancient home of Consciousness. Roughly 50% of Americans alone have reported to have a mystical experience. One can experience such states by a psychedelic/hallucinogenic experience, a spiritual awakening through yoga or meditation, a near death experience, a religious experience or even learning about a new philosophy of life. Far too often people feel alone in these experiences as they are unsure of how to process and integrate what they experienced; let alone face the ridicule that their family or society may place upon them. Together we will dive deep into the experience you were gifted and learn how to integrate it into your everyday life so that you are more in tune with your true Self.

  • The word “trauma” gets thrown around a lot. Often times in the manner of comparing whose trauma is worse or the fact that you just experienced that you should be traumatized. The truth is trauma can look different for everyone. Trauma can be a very tough thing to go through but once it is understood that it is not permanent the process begins. Learn to take the PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and transform it to PTG (Post Traumatic Growth).

  • Grief and loss may come in a multitude of different ways. The familiar understanding of grief is that an individual is mourning the loss of a loved one, but grief can also be felt during any drastic change in our lives such as; divorce or changes in a relationship, changes in your health or the health of a loved one, losing a job or changes in financial security, it could even be felt when a new concept of life has been understood. It can manifest physically as in aches and pains or cognitively as in an inability to concentrate. Sometimes grief and loss may close our hearts to others thus leading to relationship strains.

Grief affects everyone; the immediate person who may be dying the caregiver, the family, their friends and lovers. Grief does not always happen after the loss but can arise as a response in anticipation of the loss to come or be stacked throughout the process of letting go (the loss of health, social and familial roles or mobility) If you don’t grieve fully, in a way that is true to your own heart, you may end up with cynicism about life and fear of future involvement, fear of any risk It’s not about returning to ‘normal,’ but becoming someone new, free to be present for whatever your life is now.

Grief is a process. It is as unique as the person we have lost, but as individualistic as each and everyone who goes through it.

  • Sex and intimacy aren’t the same thing. There’s intimate sex and un-intimate sex. There’s intimacy without sex and sex without intimacy. The great paradox of intimacy can leave individuals confused. In some cases individuals misalign their intimacy and sex and often can result in leaving out the critical parts of a relationship (developing trust, getting to know each other, learning to feel safe, exploring each other’s vulnerabilities and awkwardness as well as growing with each other) resulting in one party, or both parties, less likely to feel close.

When you feel intimate with someone you are open to the disappointments, irritations, neediness, self-absorbed tendencies and feeling intruded upon allowing them to dissolve.

To understand that you first fall in love with love and then you fall in love with the other individual is a game changer to an uplifting experience and partner relationship.

When we are intimate with others we create lasting stories. What stories you stack in your awareness creates the image of the supporting characters in your narrative. Unresolved issues can be carried into these sexual moments leaving the experience null and void and maybe even backfire. The challenge of intimacy is that you must transition to truly loving a person, and then ecstatically having sex with him or her.

You may have to discover that your beloved brings back memories that are toxic and have nothing to do with him. You may realize that you both lack the ability to truly talk to one another, and it's having an impact on enjoying sex together. Or, the power of intimacy and sex may be bringing out insecurities that have laid dormant for years. It may be time to do some tough growing up.

Meditation

  • Learning about the fundamentals and all the different styles and ways one can practice the art of mindfulness and meditation. These words are thrown around a lot these days and how beneficial they can be but lack the guidance on how to truly benefit from the vast array of medical, spiritual and emotional leveling up they can provide. Come see what all the hype for generations is all about.

  • How are you breathing today?

In Sanskrit, prana means "vital life force", and yama means to gain control. Breathwork is when one utilizes this control of the vital life force, pranayama, consciously, to influence a person's mental, emotional, spiritual or physical state, with a therapeutic effect. An individual's particular pattern of passive breathing can lead to insights about their unconscious mind.

  • How much time in the day do we truly sit down with our significant other and talk, let alone breath consciously together. People like people who are like themselves, this is a subconscious happening that goes down to the smallest of details we behaviorally do, including breathing.

This is not couples therapy but a couples re-connection. Connect with your partner in an ineffable experience.

Coaching

  • Are you a visionary with big dreams but may be struggling with confidence or the accountability needed to commit? Or maybe you are someone who has no idea as to what your purpose is let alone your intent. Everyone has an exceptional talent that they can tap into and allow it to shine through! To think In Your Own Way, is to be In Your Own Way. Coaching will help you discover where your passion lays, how to turn a hobby into a career or find the journey you were meant to seize. It starts with discovering your Why!

  • Maybe you have already developed a plan of action and started to place the pieces in the right order. You have been working tirelessly and yet still nothing has progressed. At this point you may be asking yourself “has this all just been a waste of time?”. You continue to push on but are now pondering if you even have what it takes to fulfill such a journey. Your drawback may reside in specific beliefs you hold, relationships, values, resources or even your “musturbations” of the world. Coaching will allow you to discover, break apart, find your “flow” and create a new structure for your identity that fits the narrative of the identity you are assuming.

  • Ok, you now have realized that you are burnt out from the stress and endless hours you have been putting into making your burning desire a lifestyle and decided to take a step back. You start researching and watching videos of those whom you find inspiration from. Hell, maybe you’ve even started doing the meditations and self-affirmations they speak of, but yet… still nothing is progressing. One cannot focus on two things at the same time, balance is key. Coaching will show you that you have done your part and now its time to learn to trust.

  • Thinking of nothing is still thinking about something. The more you attempt to control something the less control you will ultimately hold. To achieve your desires one must act As If they already have it. Coaching can allow you to learn to practice the art of non-attachment and let go of what you already possess. Only then will you be able to truly see.

  • Let’s face it, it is just not a priority in our lives to devote ourselves to learning about how to improve our lives. We tend to care for the needs of others far greater than the needs of ourselves. Maybe we don’t believe there is anything to improve on. The truth is, if you are not whole yourself, there is no way you can truly show up for those who need you the most.

There is hope for you still, Self Help book club groups have taken the responsibility of reading the book and digesting it into a format that keeps the vital information and weens out the fluff. Come explore with others how to implement the lessons, tools, techniques, and wisdom of these authors into our lives. Success leaves clues, now it’s time to solve the mystery.

  • For those who are unsure as to taking the leap into a new reality and want to experience it before diving in.
